In September 2024, we will open a new chapter at Schubertring 8. The large showroom will be supplemented by a special extension:
Ecker am Schubertring Séparée.
This extension of the exhibition space by 50 square meters is spatially separated by the house entrance and perfectly complements the studio’s offering. In the Séparée, the aesthetics and charm of traditional Viennese elements such as wood paneling, stucco and star parquet are deliberately used in the furnishings. The understated furnishings by Boffi, DePadova fit in perfectly with this rich base. This design and composition impressively shows how well minimalist, timeless design harmonizes with the rich Viennese culture.
The design and implementation of the Séparée was realized almost entirely by the team at Ecker am Schubertring and the employees of the in-house Ecker carpentry shop. All renovation and conversion work was carried out by our own specialists, from the stucco work by the coating team to the wood paneling from the workshop in Raiding to the elaborately laid star parquet made of French oak by the floor fitters, everything was done by our own hands. The wood paneling was also finished by hand by the coating team with the Kerakoll Color Collection in a matching color. The elegant brushstroke is evidence of handwork, imperfection becomes a style-defining element.
Japan meets Italy in Vienna
In this special setting, the reduced furnishings of Boffi | De Padova come into their own, making the Séparée a unique dialogue between Japan, Italy and Vienna.
In two separate areas – the spacious showroom with around 200 m² and the new, spatially separate Séparée with 50 m² – the Boffi Studio Vienna team stages the current collections in a way that is close to application and in the holistic interaction of all product groups.
At the centre of the separate room is the K14 kitchen, designed by Norbert Wangen, with its 30-degree slopes in sage-coloured, ultra-matt Fenix. Elegant metal and polyester fronts harmonise with the expressive marble of the worktop and the impressive sink element in Emperador Dark and the boisserie in Fossil Oak.
The dressing room is a room within a room with elegant, leather-covered and glass elements. The »Capitonné« pouf is a striking eye-catcher and at the same time versatile – whether as additional space for guests or as stylish storage. The handcrafted details give every room a noble British accent.
The free-standing Sabbia bathtub made of Cristal Plant, the Case 5.0 bathroom furniture with mirror fronts and the most beautiful Fisher Island XL washbasin in Grigio Italia are inspiring in their own way. A steam shower, the standing washbasin, the handmade, therefore irregular tiles, the handmade surfaces of the Kerakoll Color Collection are among the testaments to the possibilities and variety that can be expected from Ecker am Schubertring.
What we were not able to do at the opening of the large showroom because of Covid – a dignified opening ceremony – we were able to make up for this time, to our great joy.
